Getting started with
The Stirland Approach™
Start with an introduction session so you learn the method properly, then choose a membership that fits.
Understanding the basics
The Stirland Approach is different to yoga and pilates, these sessions teach the method so you feel confident before committing monthly.
When we are learning something new there’s no better place to start than right at the beginning. Learning the basics behind The Stirland Approach lays the foundations for a deeper understanding of skeletal mechanics and your own body’s response to movement.
Step 1
Choose your introduction
This is where everyone starts. The Stirland Approach is a method, not a class style, so before you commit to a monthly membership you’ll begin with an introduction session. This gives you a proper feel for how it works, why it’s different, and what you personally need to focus on.
Think of Step 1 as your onboarding. You’ll learn the foundations, experience the coaching style, and leave with a clear plan for what comes next.

Why we don’t start with membership
The Stirland Approach is a method that builds foundations. Starting with an introduction means:
You learn how the method works, and how it should feel
You get placed into the right level, rather than guessing
You join with confidence and a clear direction
Coaching stays consistent across the community, which improves everyone’s experience
Not sure which Introduction Session to pick? Send an enquiry and we’ll recommend the best starting point based on your goals and experience.
Step 2
Choose your membership
Once you’ve completed your introduction, you can move onto a monthly membership. This is where the real progress happens, consistent sessions, clear progression, and coaching that builds week to week.
The purpose of Step 2 is simple. Now that you understand the method and how it should feel, a membership gives you the structure and consistency to improve performance, movement quality, resilience and confidence over time.
How membership works
01
Complete your Introduction session. Pick a plan that matches you, based on how often you want to train.
02
You book your sessions as normal through the booking system, using your membership allowance.
03
You progress week to week with coaching and foundations that build, rather than random classes that reset every session.
04
You can upgrade or adjust if your schedule changes, or if you’re ready for more.
With this membership you will have access to one timetabled class every week. Your weekly class can be done via Zoom from anywhere or in the studio with prior arrangement.
The Stirland Approach Plus Membership allows attendance in 2 timetabled classes per week. These can be accessed via ZOOM where there is unlimited spaces. You can attend in the studio with prior arrangement and where there is space.
For those wanting more, The Stirland Approach Ultimate Membership will suit you. This is Unlimited access to all timetabled classes. So if you can't get enough of feeling good this is the package for you. Unlimited access to classes on ZOOM (and in the studio where possible).
Get anytime access to my growing collection of classes and exclusive content.
“Angie has an incredible understanding of how the body moves, and more importantly how it should move fully, efficiently and pain free. Thanks to Angie I have been able to complete multiple marathons and an ultramarathon all injury free due to my body moving more efficiently than ever…. Despite being 50!!”
